When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead

This book was well-written! I especially enjoyed the incorporation of a A Wrinkle in Time to the plot as it was one of my favorite books as a girl as well! Although I did guess the identity of the laughing man before it was revealed, the author left much that she explained-many great details interwoven throughout that came together at the end. As a side note-I found the review by Voice of Youth Advocates on the back cover VERY confusing. The book only hints at global warming in the future and ultimately is not even the reason for the time travel. I'm surprise the editor included the review. -Jennifer S.
