The Magic Bullet by Larry Millet

While the author did a good job of presenting a puzzling mystery, I always find it interesting that people even attempt to duplicate another man's genius. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is "the man" and this book was mediocre in comparison. The book format should have been better highlighted by the book's designer as I didn't catch them until Book 3--and the timeline jumps before that got confusing! The biggest gripe with the conclusion I had was that it was impossible for the reader to guess the solution--perhaps if a copy of the plans had been included? -Jennifer S.
