The List by Melanie Jacobson

This is the story of a girl who has a list of items she wants to complete before she marries. While I agree in theory that people should develop their talents and be actively engaged in becoming a "whole" person before marriage, I found the character somewhat shallow and selfish. She describes a "player" type of dating relationship that I would not like a teenage girl to read and think that this was the best way to date. It is a fun read, and I could appreciate the author's perspective, but again, not one that I would want to shape a teenager's ideas. No vulgar language, violence or sex. -Laurie S.
