Mary Balogh is my all-time favorite romance author. I started reading her books at the beginning of the Slightyly series. I just fell in love with her writing. In this book, you get to meet Jennifer Winwood and her cousin, Samantha Newman. Jennifer is promised to Lionel, Viscount Kersey, but Gabriel, Earl of Thornhill has other ideas.
