Amy is the main person in this book and is struggling to find her place as a writer, she is teaching writing at a university in Copenhagen, Ohio. She just broke up with her boyfriend and is living with her best friend Zoe. Zoe's friend Eli needs a place to stay. Amy finds him annoying at first but then starts to fall for him, problem is he's not available. -Amy G.
